Little Alayna Adams got quite the surprise at last night’s Tampa Bay Rays game against the Boston Red Sox.
Alayna, 9, was picked to throw out the first pitch at Tropicana Field.
Her father, Lt. Col. Will Adams who had been stationed in Afghanistan, appeared on the JumboTron and told his daughter he would see her soon.
After Alayna threw out the first pitch, the catcher removed his mask – and there was dad.
You’ll have to excuse me now. I think I have something in my eye.
