Here’s something interesting. It looks like yet another member of the Bush family has set his sights on public office, as George P. Bush has filed paperwork to run for office in the state of Texas, according to the New Republic.
George P. is the 36-year-old son of former Governor of Florida Jeb Bush, nephew of former President George W. Bush, and grandson of former President George H.W. Bush.
Bush said back in September that his goal was to run for office and said he was thinking about several statewide offices, according to the Christian Science Monitor.
It has not yet been revealed for which office he plans to run. The paperwork that was filed, though, permits him to begin accepting campaign contributions.
George P. Bush’s mother is Mexican and can speak Spanish. He’s also a graduate of Rice University and University of Texas, a Navy Reserve officer, and the spearheads the MavPac political action committee.
He now resides in Fort Worth where he runs his own consulting firm.
